Rissera is a region which has always been hidden away from human eyes. Many pokemon have lived here peacefully and in secret. Even with the feeling of Bliss, they are not unaware of the dangers of the outside world or of certain events which have taken place over the years.
Nearly five hundred years have now past since the Faded Cross war which happened in the six main regions of the world they lived in. Stories are told in Rissera about a group of scientists who started the war by experimenting on human and pokemon DNA in order to create the ultimate weapon, the Pokemorph.
The day this story came to Rissera, many of the pokemon fled to further regions to avoid being captured. Some remained and formed small groups hoping to protect themselves and the land they live in. While the outside world may be dangerous, darkness came to Rissera and created many problems in this land.
It is now up to the pokemon here to band together and protect the one place they live in. Their home.

The Rissera Region is a role play where members may choose to play either regular pokemon or Shadow pokemon. We're a new site which is currently looking around for Graphic artists and mods who may be able to help out around the forum a bit.
