It wasn't to long before the stallion had made his way through the forest and onto the sandy land of the beach. His ears lifting with interest to each sound. Birds danced above him and the sound of water was music to his ears. He loved water it was like a song, the snow had pretty much melted, his hooves leaving prints in the wet heavy sand. Each leg lifting with ease and curiosity. His eyes wide and full of interest and wonder. BlackBird hadn't seen or met anyone recently so this was all a new game to him. His nostrils widening, the smell of water filled his scents.
Ears lowered and tilted back to wards his rump. Hips swayed and tail danced in a beat as his four legs moved through the moist sand and headed to wards the water. Chunks of ice still floated far far out in the water's grasp. That was okay. His hooves hit the shallow water, and it splashed up onto his shins. Ears shot back it was freezing still but he didn't mind. Stepping back so he wasn't so deep he just stood as the sand sucked his black hooves into the earth. He relaxed his hind leg and looked around. Why so empty around these parts?
Body was relaxed as he turned his head and sent out a loud whinny to anyone who could or would hear. His limbs picked up and his tall body moved him forward. The Andalusian was powerful, though rather thin he was going to be filled out soon once summer hit, he'd be 5 soon. His tail just skimming the water, mane blown to the left side of his neck, it reached down to wards his shoulder. His for lock to the left covering his eye.
Neck tucked tightly as he squealed and splashed the water with his front limb, stretching it out he splashed it and whinnied playfully. Banner shot up as he picked up a trot and passaged along the shallow water. It wasn't so cold now. Head tossed and hind legs locked as his heels clicked and shot into the hair. He whinnied and picked up a gallop. The water making popping noises under his solid flint like feet. Smile along his mug his ears flat the stallion threw another buck and slowed down throwing 3 more before whinnying once more and feeling his heart pound.
He spun slightly in a small circle and looked around, the hoof prints he had left were slowly disappearing as if to erase him from ever being there and the only sound were the birds flying and singing over head, the sound of the angry water crashing over itself and hitting the sand. It crept up and touched BlackBird's toes as he stood there. His head lowered and his nose gently touched the thin layer of water that swam up to him then disappeared back into the large puddle of water that homed fish. He sighed and looked around. His legs shifted as he looked around. A lone whinny was sent out. It echoed through the empty land. He waited.
