Southern Belle and Secret Lightning
Two horses galloped across the country side. Both having escaped from their pastures and both were having a good time. Racing is what they did best, running until they could run no more. A bay stallion was in the lead; a black mare on his heals. The two were good friends, having both befriending Stevie, their beloved owner. Nostrils quivered as both smelled water. Belle, the black mare, nickered to the bay stallion and trotted to the water. Lightning, the hyper bay stallion, snorted and pranced after her. Belle plunged her muzzle into the water, you could see as she gulped it down how it went down her throat. Lightning copied the slightly older mare, he too getting a drink. Ears flicked back and forth, listening to the sounds around them. A look past between the horses as if saying "How are we to get back? We just moved here and well..." Confusion set in. How were they to get back? Boy would Stevie be mad. She wouldn't have thought that her little herd of horses would have gotten this far from home. Would she? Belle snorted and shook her head. Lightning reared, forelegs pawing the air. He seemed to be saying "Hey this is kinda my fault but your the smart one! Get us home!" A teasing look came into the mares eyes as the young stallion, in human terms, threw a fit. She was amused but not happy. They would not past as wild horses. Sure they were fit and strong but their manes were a dead give away. Pulled to where it would just lie flat on their necks, it was a racehorse style. Not to mention the fact that their coats were sleek and glistening, so much unlike a wild horse's. Nope. No humans would mistaken this pair as wild horses.
OOC: Fixed, I think. Besides, I like this one better!
